Let's get you married,
your way in
New Zealand
New Zealand
For D and L's New Zealand adventure we got up early and drove to the lakeside which was graced with lupins, with cups of freshly brewed coffee and picnic blanket in tow. Watching their first sunrise together as they embark on their new journey filled with happy tears, deep belly laughs and nothing but nature to witness their commitment and vows to each other. The perfect start to the perfect day!
The day began with the sun peaking through the snow capped mountain tops...
That's exactly why I'm an elopement photographer in New Zealand.
You deserve an elopement day that is all about you and your story. I can't wait to create that same adventure experience for the two of you!

Absolutely you can! I always suggest no more than 10 guests to keep it nice and intimate, or just the two of you. If you are choosing to invite guests the best package would be the Full Day allowing for plenty of time to celebrate with friends and family as well as time to adventure, just the two of you!
This is my favourite part about the after adventure process, the sneak peeks! Within 24 hours of your elopement you'll have a beautiful sneak peek gallery to enjoy and share. Then your final gallery will be waiting in your inbox within 2-4 weeks!
I absolutely love New Zealand and all the different landscapes and scenery you get within a few hours worth of travelling, but my top three regions would be Canterbury, Mackenzie Region and Otago in the South Island, offering a variety of mountains, waterfalls, lakes, forrest and wildlife all within a few hours drive from each other.
It's totally up to you! You can choose to wear clothing that you feel comfortable in for the walk/s and get changed into your wedding gear at the ceremony location or you could even do 2/3 outfit changes during the day. it's your day and the most important thing is that you feel GREAT and COMFORTABLE!
P.s. suitable footwear is always recommended for your adventures, you can always pop those sparkly heels on when we arrive on location!
This is YOUR elopement, so it's totally up to you! We can plan for locations and activities that suit the two of you and what you feel comfortable with! I myself love small walks and mini hikes, allowing for more time to enjoy the final destination and also means you tend to be a little less tired!
I always open my calendar a year in advance but recommend anywhere between 6-12 months ahead of your ideal date is best, that way we can spend the best amount of time planning and scouting your EPIC elopement locations and adventures!
My honest opinion is to embrace the rain! Rain just adds to your elopement story and makes for absolute fun and amazing photos! If you're game, then so am I!
Heck yes they are! I loveeee dogs, I have three collies myself. I'll guide you on the best dog friendly locations for your elopement!
I like to mix galleries with a range of candid and prompted images... allowing for those classic looking at the camera images to lightly be sprinkled throughout with the candid's telling the authentic story of how your day unfolds.
